London couple to take in sights of Paris with marathon effort for Molly Rose Foundation

Diggory Slee, 25, and his partner Honor Congreve, 26, will run the Paris Marathon on 13 April on behalf of Molly Rose Foundation.

The runners will see the sights of the French capital in a different light while also raising money for our vital work, which provides education and help around mental health and campaigns for safe online spaces for young people.

Insurance broker Diggory, who is from Northamptonshire and now lives in Fulham said: “We always want to help others and want to make a positive impact on people’s lives, alleviate suffering for families, and bring hope to those in need.

“We are passionate to support a cause as important as Molly Rose Foundation that continually requires funding and support from communities. We firmly believe that our efforts can contribute to creating a better world.

“Having personally met the Russell family, we are inspired by all their efforts and we want to help to share recognition for the Foundation.”

Last year Diggory took part in the Brighton Marathon alongside Molly’s sisters Rebecca and Alice, raising an astonishing £6,800.

Diggory’s partner Honor, an interior designer from North Yorkshire and now living in Wandsworth, said: “We are both incredibly excited and I’m a little nervous about running the marathon, but we feel truly honoured to be doing it in support of Molly Rose Foundation and raising awareness for such a great cause.”

Molly Rose Foundation also has runners taking part in the Brighton Marathon this year, and the shorter 10k race on April 6, with one space still available. If you would like to take part, email hello@mollyrosefoundation.org

The events in Brighton will see the return of our Coffee for Molly mental health initiative to the town. It sees the placement of resources in coffee shops along the running routes to encourage customers to talk about mental health.

It is free for coffee shops to sign up and they will be stocked with Where to Find Help cards, conversation starter menus and coffee cup sleeves all making the public aware of Molly Rose Foundation and the importance of taking time to talk.

If you own or know of a coffee shop that would like to get involved, please email hello@mollyrosefoundation.org
