MRF Chair Ian Russell has written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves to say that online safety can result in economic growth for the country.
Using the Government’s own data, the letter, published by The Mirror, challenges narratives that regulation runs contrary to achieving growth.
It comes just days after addressing an open letter to Prime Minister Keir Starmer, calling on him to act urgently to protect young people online.
