This year the theme for Children’s Mental Health Week is Growing Together. The focus is on emotional growth and change and how we can help and support each other. We can develop and grow as people by trying new activities and learning new things. We need to be able to connect with each other and communicate. Also we need to give, perhaps our time, our energy, those random acts of kindness and our thanks. We need to notice the world around us; notice the changes in nature and notice when we need to give ourselves some self-care. We also need to be active and to keep moving, exercising our bodies and having some fun. So check out the Let’s Get Going packs and try something new today. These packs have plenty of ideas to get you started whether you are a teacher looking for resources or parents looking for ideas to do with your children.
